Below is a quick overview of all the different methods of payment available at Essington Family Dental Care:
Credit Cards, Cash & Personal Checks
Cash and Credit Cards are, typically, the most common forms of payment that patients prefer. Personal checks as payment for our dental services are always welcome. Our staff will help you writing the check, so please seek them out and ask them any questions you may have. Lastly, we accept multiple credit cards, including Visa and Mastercard. For a complete list of the credit cards we accept, or if you are unsure if we accept your card, please call our office at 815-744-1212 and we will be glad to verify that information.
Our office is delighted in being able to accept medical and dental insurance as payment for our services. Before going to your appointment, it is advised to call your insurance company to make sure what dental coverage your plan has. Or, if you have additional dental insurance, you may call us to verify if we accept this company.
Along with the other methods of payment listed, Essington Family Dental Care offers Care Credit as part of our dental payment services. This method of payment allows you to pay in flexible monthly installments.
Our office accepts CareCredit, a healthcare credit card that is used to pay for out-of-pocket expenses not covered by medical insurance. CareCredit is subject to credit approval, but once you are accepted, you can use it again and again. CareCredit is a great option if you're on a budget, in that you can pay for your dental expenses in installments. Ask us about CareCredit today! Applying is easy, and we are here to answer any questions.
Medical insurance is definitely an important tool for effectively managing your budget. Insurance companies cover many of your health expenses, saving you from paying out of your pocket. Dental insurance is also a type of medical coverage that provides coverage for certain dental expenses. It can be offered as a part of the overall medical indemnity or as a separate policy. To better assist patients, our office in Joliet, Illinois also processes treatment compensations through dental insurance.
As this method of payment has a few additional details that need to be dealt with before the payment is transferred, it is suggested that the patients check their insurance providers before their treatment begins.
It is important to make sure your insurance plan is currently active, since many polices go into effect after several months of your application approval. Patients are also advised to ensure that the treatment they will be going through is covered by their insurance company.
Apart from settling details with the providers, it is also recommended that patients confirm with our office that their insurance coverage is accepted. This is because there could be some insurance agencies that are not registered with us.
In some cases, your insurance may allow you to pay in cash, and then offer a reimbursement after the appointment.
If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call us or visit our office today. Our team would love to answer any questions you may have.
